This September, Miami Fine Arts Academy opens the doors to its third location: a new 4,000-square-foot Coral Gables campus designed to make students and families feel that something special begins the moment they step inside.

The new academy represents the culmination of years of experience, growth, and a deep understanding of what helps students learn, create, and feel at home. Rather than simply recreating one of its existing locations, the Founder approached the new campus as an opportunity to bring together everything the academy has learned since its beginnings and create its most thoughtful student experience yet.

From the entrance, warm tones, custom millwork, solid-walnut doors, benches, and carefully selected architectural details give the academy an inviting yet refined character. Glass is incorporated throughout the interior, creating a sense of openness and allowing natural light to move through the space.

Behind the beauty is equally thoughtful planning. Extensive soundproofing throughout the walls, ceilings, and doors helps create focused and private learning environments for each student.

Nine individual music studios provide dedicated spaces for piano, guitar, violin, voice, and drum instruction. As a Steinway Educational Partner, Miami Fine Arts Academy equips its piano studios with Steinway-designed instruments.

Two dance rooms feature professional sprung floors and full-height windows that fill the studios with daylight, while a bright art room gives young artists an inspiring environment to draw, paint, experiment, and develop their own creative voices.

The Coral Gables location welcomes students of all ages and experience levels, from children discovering the arts for the first time to advanced students continuing to develop their craft.

Individual music lessons are available in piano, guitar, violin, voice, and drums. Group art programs include Mixed Media for children beginning at age five and Portfolio-Ready for developing artists. Dance offerings include Mommy & Me beginning at age two, Angelina Ballerina, and ballet. Individual music study begins as early as age four, and adults are also welcome throughout the academy's programs.

Bringing music, art, and dance together under one roof also makes arts education easier for busy families, particularly those with siblings who may have completely different interests. Each child can pursue an individual passion while the entire family becomes part of one creative community.

But creating a beautiful facility is only one part of providing an exceptional arts education.

For the Founder, that commitment begins with the people teaching inside it. The academy is highly selective when welcoming new educators and staff. Candidates go through a multi-step process that includes interviews and demonstration lessons, helping ensure that each educator meets Miami Fine Arts Academy's standards for professional knowledge, teaching ability, and student care.

That attention to quality has been part of the academy's story since 2009, when Miami Fine Arts Academy began with just 12 students in a three-classroom studio in Coral Gables.

As families began asking for more opportunities, the academy expanded beyond music into visual art and dance, eventually becoming a multidisciplinary private fine arts academy that has served thousands of South Florida families.

Through every stage of that growth, its mission has remained consistent: to inspire students of all ages and give them the skills and confidence to enjoy music, art, and dance for a lifetime.

That experience also extends well beyond weekly lessons.

Through its annual destination recital, students and their families have received memorable opportunities to perform at internationally renowned institutions and venues. Past destinations have included Carnegie Hall in New York, the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., and, most recently, the Royal Academy of Music in London.

Now, opening a third location brings the story full circle.

Miami Fine Arts Academy is returning to the Coral Gables community where its journey first began—this time with years of experience, thousands of students behind its story, and a new space created for the next generation of young artists.
