Community has always been at the heart of Miami Kids Magazine. For more than a decade, we have used our platforms to help connect families with organizations, resources and programs making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families across South Florida and beyond.
Each year, we support a select group of community organizations whose work reflects areas that matter deeply to our families — from education, health and inclusion to youth development, family support, safety and stronger communities.

Our support goes beyond sharing an event. Throughout the year, Miami Kids Magazine helps amplify important initiatives through our print magazine, digital platforms, newsletters, social media, community events and special editorial projects. In many cases, our relationship with these organizations has grown over many years through hands-on involvement, shared initiatives and a genuine commitment to their missions.

Advancing inclusion, independence and opportunity for people with vision loss
Miami Kids Magazine is proud to support Miami Lighthouse and its work with children and families affected by blindness and visual impairment. From early intervention and inclusive education to literacy, technology, summer programs and family support, Miami Lighthouse helps children build skills, confidence and independence while creating a stronger sense of belonging for every family.

Parent to Parent of Miami has been an important partner in our commitment to inclusion. We value the organization's work connecting families of children and adults with disabilities with information, resources, education and peer support — and helping parents know they do not have to navigate the journey alone.

Connecting individuals and families with autism resources, guidance and support
Miami Kids Magazine supports UM-NSU CARD and its work helping individuals with autism and related disabilities, their families and the professionals who support them. By connecting families with information, training, consultation and community resources, CARD helps make support easier to find and strengthens inclusion across every stage of life.

Miami Kids Magazine has a long history of supporting Best Buddies and its mission of inclusion for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are proud to amplify opportunities centered on friendship, leadership, employment and belonging, and to help families discover programs that make inclusion part of everyday life.

From emergency preparedness and lifesaving skills to disaster response and support for families in times of crisis, the American Red Cross provides resources every family should know about. Miami Kids Magazine is proud to help connect our audience with practical information, community initiatives and opportunities to be prepared and help others.

Helping children and families build healthier lives and lifesaving skills
Miami Kids Magazine supports the American Heart Association's work to help children and families build healthy habits, understand heart and brain health, and learn lifesaving skills such as Hands-Only CPR. Through school and community programs, the Association gives young people practical tools to care for their own health while helping create safer, healthier communities.

Giving parents practical tools to help children grow up safe, healthy and drug-free
Miami Kids Magazine supports Informed Families and its prevention-focused work with parents, schools and communities. Through family resources, school programs and campaigns such as Red Ribbon and Lock Your Meds, the organization gives parents practical tools to start important conversations, make healthy choices and help keep children safe.

Sofia's Hope supports children with cancer and their families through programs, education, awareness and research. Environmental issues are family issues — especially in South Florida. Miami Kids Magazine supports The CLEO Institute's work in climate education, youth engagement and community resilience, helping families better understand topics such as extreme heat, hurricane preparedness and practical ways to care for the world our children will inherit.

Voices of Inclusion
At Miami Kids Magazine, inclusion is part of what we do year-round.
Through Voices of Inclusion, we give children, families, educators, experts, and community leaders a platform to share their stories, experiences, and perspectives. Kids also have the opportunity to use their own voices through articles and special features, helping create greater understanding, empathy, and connection within our community.
Throughout the year, we also recognize and highlight individuals and organizations making a meaningful impact and helping build a more inclusive world for children of all abilities and backgrounds.
Voices of Inclusion is open to schools that want to join us in spreading this message. Schools can encourage students to participate through writing, storytelling, nominations, classroom projects, and other initiatives that celebrate kindness, inclusion, understanding, and belonging.
Together, we can give young people a stronger voice and inspire more families, schools, and communities to help every child feel seen, supported, and included.

Community partnerships are selective. They grow out of a genuine alignment with the families we serve, and most of them have been built over years rather than seasons.
