Miami Kids Magazine Safe Streets Halloween is a free community Halloween celebration for families, presented in partnership with the City of South Miami. The event features trick-or-treating, costume contests, pumpkin decorating, inflatables, haunted houses, music, games, prizes, and more.

What families can expect
Trick-or-Treating
Families can enjoy trick-or-treating along a closed section of Sunset Drive.
Costume Contests
Kids can join costume contests for ages 6 and under and ages 7–14, plus a Family Costume Contest. Registration is available at the welcome booth.
Halloween Activities
Enjoy pumpkin decorating, inflatables, haunted houses, music, games, prizes, and more.
Sensory & Allergy-Friendly Options
A dedicated Sensory Zone is available for families with special needs, along with an allergy-friendly candy station.
