Winter Camp Guide

Science, cooking, rock, sailing and inclusive camps for the December 21–January 1 school break — 9 places in 5 sections across Miami-Dade, Broward and beyond.

Winter break for Miami-Dade and Broward public schools runs from Monday, December 21, 2026, through Friday, January 1, 2027, and Miami-Dade students also have Friday, December 18, off.

Welcome to the Miami Kids Magazine Winter Camp Guide! Here are the camps that keep kids busy over the break across Miami-Dade, Broward and beyond: science and nature, cooking, rock music, sailing, skating and an inclusive camp for children with and without disabilities.

Each listing has the ages and, where the camp has published them, the dates and prices. Spots are limited, so it pays to book early, and more camps will join this guide as they confirm their dates.

Free days between camps? Our December events calendar and Holiday Activity Guide have plenty more to do with kids.
