Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade

The 55th Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade, themed 'Party in the U.S.A.' for America's 250th, sends boats of every size covered in lights 12 miles from Stranahan House along the New River, east to the Intracoastal and north to Lake Santa Barbara in Pompano Beach. It starts at 6 p.m. after a 5:30 pre-show of non-motorized boats, and takes about two and a half hours to pass any one spot. Winterfest's ticketed Parade Viewing Area at Las Olas Intracoastal Promenade Park opens at 4 p.m. with a chair for every guest, live entertainment, festival food and photos with Santa, and the boats reach it around 6:30. You can also watch from bridges and other spots along the route. No pets, coolers or outside chairs in the viewing area, and the parade goes on rain or shine.
