Spooky Puzzle Palooza

An evening of ghoulish puzzles and brain games at the Pompano Beach Library and Cultural Center, with puzzles for every skill level plus spooky crosswords and mazes. Earlier the same afternoon, 3–4 p.m., the library runs Green Screen Halloween: come in costume (or not) and get your photo on a spooky or not-so-spooky background, emailed to you afterward. Both are free; register on the library's event pages, with your email for the photo.
