NightGarden at Fairchild

On select nights from Nov. 13 to Jan. 3, Fairchild's garden paths glow after dark for NightGarden: the Tree of Life and its secret-garden laser show, the returning fairies, Pixie's Detour and the Rainbow Rainforest, Archimedes the talking tree, the Giant Dandelions and holiday movies in the park, with Miami food trucks, specialty coffee and hot chocolate. New this season is an ice rink with real ice; skating needs its own ticket on top of NightGarden admission. Entry is timed from 5:45 p.m. and a walk takes about an hour; the garden stays open until 10 p.m. Sunday–Thursday, 11 p.m. Friday–Saturday and midnight on New Year's Eve. Through mid-December the nights fall mostly on weekends, and from Dec. 16 it runs every night; the ticket calendar shows each date. Children 3 and under are free, and on-site parking is limited, so rideshare is recommended.
