Luminosa Lantern Festival at Jungle Island

Jungle Island's lantern festival is back for the holidays with a new show, Miami, Reimagined in Light: a nighttime walk past larger-than-life handmade lanterns that travel through the city's neighborhoods — the tropics, the rhythm of Little Havana, the color of the Art District and the spirit of South Beach — and on into Fairland, a fantasy world of glowing creatures, with music, entertainment, food and plenty of photo spots. It opens Wednesday, Nov. 25, with timed entry from 5:30 p.m.; tickets are on sale for nights through Jan. 10, 2027, and the season's end date hasn't been announced. Tickets are sold online through Fever, dates can be changed up to 48 hours ahead and there are no refunds. Strollers are allowed, the route is wheelchair accessible, and parking is $20 per car.
