Holiday Fantasy of Lights Drive-Thru

South Florida's first holiday lights drive-thru, now in its 32nd year: three miles of giant animated light displays at Tradewinds Park in Coconut Creek, seen from your own car. It's open nightly 6–10 p.m. from Nov. 21 to Jan. 2, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day included. A standard car is $34 at the gate, cash or card (cards add a 3% fee), and slightly less when bought online; $3 holographic glasses turn the bulbs into snowmen, candy canes and reindeer. Kids can drop letters in the official North Pole mailbox, and the gate takes new, unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots. Pets can ride along, and there's no food for sale, so bring your own snacks.
