THE CP AND NEUROMOTOR COMPREHENSIVE CARE CENTER AT NICKLAUS CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL
The Nicklaus Children's Cerebral Palsy and Neuromotor Comprehensive Care Center is a specialized program that supports families of children with movement disorders. A collaboration between our Orthopedic, Sports Medicine and Spine Institute and Neuroscience Institute, this care center brings together neurologists, neurosurgeons, orthopedic surgeons, and a wide range of pediatric experts, all dedicated to caring for the individual needs of each child with complex conditions. Caring for children with CP and neuromotor conditions takes more than medical expertise. It takes a dedicated team supporting every step of the journey.
THE GAIT AND MOTION ANALYSIS LAB AT NICKLAUS CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL
Discover how the Gait and Motion Analysis Lab at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital helps children with cerebral palsy and other neuromuscular conditions move better. By measuring joint motion, muscle activity, and force in real time, our expert team can create personalized treatment plans that improve mobility, reduce pain, and support better outcomes.

Nicklaus Children’s Hospital’s Cerebral Palsy and Neuromotor Center offers a multidisciplinary approach to care for children with specialized needs. Their team includes a wide range of providers from neurologists to social workers, all collaborating to offer comprehensive, coordinated care for children with complex needs.
DR. MARIA MILLA
Dr. Maria Milla, Chief of Nicklaus Children's Pediatric Care Centers, specializes in developmental-behavioral pediatrics. She focuses on providing comprehensive and collaborative care to children with special healthcare needs, including developmental delays, ADHD, and autism. She finds it rewarding to guide families and celebrate every step of a child's progress.
DR. LESBIA DRUKTEINIS
Dr. Lesbia offers an overview on the Nicklaus Children’s Dental Program and its compassionate dental care services for children with specialized needs. From basic examinations to dental cleanings as well as services under sedation and general anesthesia, catered to children with specialized needs.
GORDON SCHOOL
Gordon School is a faith-based educational institution that emphasizes learning through hands-on experiences and a nurturing community. The school offers programs for students from early childhood through high school, fostering an environment where students can grow, explore, and learn in a supportive and collaborative setting.
SOUTH FLORIDA AUTISM CHARTER SCHOOL
