Care, Comfort, and Hope, right at Home

iCare Behavior & Wellness places a strong emphasis on individualized, at-home care. What inspired your team to bring ABA therapy and home health services directly into clients’ homes, especially for children?
At iCare Behavior & Wellness, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to thrive in an environment that feels safe, familiar, and supportive. Families navigating disabilities often face overwhelming schedules filled with appointments, therapies, and unanswered questions. Our mission is to make that journey easier by bringing high-quality ABA therapy and home health services directly into the home.
The inspiration behind iCare’s individualized, in-home model came directly from listening to parents. For many, traveling to multiple therapy centers was not only exhausting but disruptive to their child’s comfort and progress. By meeting children where they are—whether in their living room, bedroom, or backyard—we are able to provide therapy and care in the place that matters most. This approach reduces stress on families and creates natural opportunities for learning in daily routines.
Through our home health services, covered by insurance, we provide families with trained caregivers who assist children with disabilities in essential daily tasks such as bathing, feeding, and personal care. This support not only enhances the child’s quality of life but also gives parents much-needed relief, helping prevent caregiver burnout.
Our home health services for children are equally essential. Families who need support with personal care tasks or medically complex needs benefit from skilled and compassionate caregivers who understand the challenges of raising a child with disabilities. When combined with behavior therapy, children not only receive help with daily living but also learn the skills to become more independent over time.

iCare is active in community outreach to support parents facing challenges. We are glad to have you in all of our events! Can you tell us about any other recent initiative or program where your involvement made a direct difference for families?Â
Our commitment extends far beyond the front door of the home. iCare has a strong presence in the community, regularly partnering with schools, pediatricians, and local organizations to support families. Recently, our team organized a back-to-school drive providing backpacks, resources, and consultations for children with special needs. We also host parent workshops that cover everything from navigating insurance to learning practical behavior strategies. These efforts ensure that families not only receive care but also feel connected, informed, and supported within the broader community.

You offer complimentary consultations. What should parents expect during a first meeting, and how might it shape the ongoing support plan for their child?
Parents who connect with iCare for the first time are invited to a complimentary consultation. This initial meeting is designed to be welcoming and informative. Families can expect a safe, judgment-free space to share their child’s story and their concerns. Our team reviews developmental history, current challenges, and goals, then creates a tailored roadmap for care. Whether the child needs home health support, ABA therapy, or a combination of both, this first step sets the stage for meaningful, ongoing collaboration.

Please leave a final message for parents who have just received a diagnosis, providing guidance on what to do and offering some helpful tips.
For families who have just received a diagnosis, the path forward may feel uncertain. Our message is simple: you are not alone. It is natural to feel overwhelmed, but early support and guidance can make all the difference. Surround yourself with a care team that listens, provides answers, and walks alongside you. Celebrate each milestone—big or small—and remember that a diagnosis does not define your child’s future. It is simply a tool to help us understand how to best support them. At iCare, we are honored to be part of that journey, offering both compassionate care and proven strategies to help every child shine.
