Foundation for New Education Initiatives hosted its seventh annual For the Love of Learning Gala

The event took place at the JW Marriott Marquis in downtown Miami with over 450 of Miami’s most influential business and philanthropic leaders supporting Miami-Dade County Public Schools. Co-Chaired by Superintendent of Schools Jose L. Dotres, and Ana VeigaMilton and Cecil Milton, over a half million dollars was raised to help Miami’s neediest students transcend homelessness, attend college, bridge the technology gap, and attend cultural events Trish and Dan Bell, founding chairs of the gala, were also recognized for their leadership in supporting the District and for serving as co-chairs for the past 6 years.
